Tuesday, February 5, 2019Sincerest sympathies on the death of your dear loved one. Our heavenly Father, whose personal name is Jehovah, gives us many scriptures to let us know that He is with us when we are in pain. One of those is found at Isaiah 57:15 where God tells us; "I reside in the high and holy place, but also with those crushed and lowly in spirit. to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of those being crushed." He also gives a future promise of what he will do to death found in 1 Corinthians 15:26; "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." May these and other scriptures you find give you peace and comfort. jw.org

Saturday, October 13, 2018I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know how hard losing a loved one can be. Prayer is a major healer because God is close to those who are in pain at heart. He hears the prayers of those who cry for help. God hates death just as much as we do and that is why he plans to do something about it in the near future. 1 Corinthians 15:26 reads: "And the last, enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." God will also resurrect our dead loved ones. Acts 24:15 reads: "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." You and your family are in my prayers. Please accept my sincere condolences. www.jw.org - search resurrection (for comfort that will bring you to your copy of the Bible)
