Sunday, May 21, 2017I had met Mike back in 2009 on a tour of the Boardwalk Organ tour and on a few more tours since then. I had last seen Mike in August 2016 and he always took a minute from the work he was doing to talk with me as I had mentioned about the Robert Morton 3/13 theater organ that needs to be worked on at my church but that is a story in itself. Mike was a kind and pleasant person and I will miss him. My deepest condolences to his family. God speed Mike.

Wednesday, May 10, 2017I worked with Mike at Editel for close to 17 years. It was a very stressful job and when I had to seek an engineer due to "downtime", I was always comforted by Mike's quiet demeanor, and his dogged drive to fix whatever caused our edit room to go down. Mike was a gentle giant and I am happy to have known him.

Saturday, May 6, 2017Mike became a friend quickly, even before we meet in person at Boardwalk Hall, through conversations about the instruments there. Facebook became an avenue to have"Organ chat" about the Midmer-Losh and Kimball. We became friends, and I always thought of him as a big Bear of a guy but with a quick smile and a warm friendly attitude, always. I will miss you Mike. You were a blessing to me, as you were to many.
